Harry Potter Deathly Hallows translation arrest
Police arrested a teenager suspected of posting his own translation of the latest Harry Potter and the deathly hallows novel on the Internet weeks before the official French translation release. The 16-year-old schoolboy, from the Aix-en-Provence region in southern France, was taken into custody by a police anti-counterfeiting unit and later released, said a spokeswoman for the Gallimard publishing house, which handles the French translation editions of the Harry Potter novels including, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

A videotape made by David Hasselhoff's daughters shows the recovering alcoholic falling off the wagon but the actor says he's doing much better since it was made. The video, which aired this week on TV tabloid shows, depicts an apparently inebriated David Hasselhoff, clad only in blue jeans, lying on the floor of a room and clumsily eating a hamburger while one of his daughters remonstrates with him about his drinking.
Uni gunman sent pictures to American TV
Police say the gunman who killed 32 students and himself at the Virginia Tech campus sent photographs, video and writings to US TV's NBC News. An NBC source told AFP the package was mailed from Blacksburg and postmarked at 9:01am on the day of the killings.
Russian rocket launches world satellites
