A 61-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed at Jay Creek, south-west of Alice Springs.
A 44-year-old was stabbed in his upper thigh during an argument at a home at Jay Creek, 45km south-west of Alice Springs, in the early hours of Friday.
The 61-year-old woman has been remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Northern Territory Police said on Sunday.
Meanwhile, a man is helping police with their inquiries after the stabbing death of a 35-year-old man in Alice Springs.
NT Police said the man was stabbed during a disturbance at vacant parkland near the intersection of the Stuart Highway and Gap Road in Alice Springs around 9pm (CST) on Thursday.
A 20-year-old man was injured in the incident and was taken to Alice Springs hospital with a stab wound.
The two men were sitting with a group of people when they were approached by four men and a fight erupted, police said.
A 20-year-old man is in police custody and three other suspected offenders had been identified, police said.
