At1770 Undersea Adventures we offer 1/2 day and full day trips, dive courses ranging from open water to assistant instructor and we specialise is small groups, so you get the best training possible, with highly experienced staff, in a friendly enviroment.
We run specialties in such things as wreck diving, deep diving, photography and many others so just ask and I'm sure we can help you achieve you diving ambitions.
We teach PADI, SSI and DAN courses.
We dive mainly in and arouind the 1770 area and do regular dives to the Great Barrier Reef at Lady Musgrave Island, Lewellyn Reef, Fitzroy Reef, Boult Reef and wrecks like the Karma and Cetacea as well as regular night diving..

Introductory Dives
For those who have never dived before to give it a go without
having to do the open water course
Can be done in 2 - 3 hours
Open Water
This course opens the world of diving to you and what better place to start your diving adventure than the 1770 area, where you can be assured of personalised service and a relaxed, fun atmosphere in what many people are discovering is a small piece of paradise.
This course teaches you the basics about diving and enables you to dive all over the world to a depth of 18 metres. Typically running for 4-5 days, it includes learning theory in the classroon, practicing in the pool and then dives in the ocean.
We have courses for every budget, from the bare bones backpacker special to the premium which includes a full set of equipment!!
The backpacker special takes 4 days and includes:
