Lady Elliot Island is one of only six island accommodation resorts on the Queensland Great Barrier Reef, Australia, and one of only three with direct flight access to the island airstrip. The island is located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park in the highest possible classification of Marine National Park Zone by GBRMPA. Lady Elliot is an island teeming with life and live corals, famous for a resident population of 40 Manta Rays which form the iconic logo of the island.

Tour the reef in a glass bottomed boat, learn to scuba dive, feed the fish, take a guided reef walk or stroll to a deserted beach and live the dream. With exceptionally clear water year round, you may encounter turtles, dolphins and a large variety of coral, fish and giant manta rays. If you are there for the right season you may see birds nesting, turtle hatchlings emerging from the sand or migrating humpback whales blow and breech, the live coral environment.

Snorkeling: Beach snorkeling is an activity that you can participate in at any time. Please contact the Dive Shop to find which side of the island has the best conditions on the day and news as to whether turtles, mantas, whales etc are close to shore.

Reef Walking: When the tide is low, you can venture all the way through the lagoon from the beach to the reef edge. You'll see a multitude of marine life as our experienced guide introduces you to the complexities of the reef eco-system.

Swimming: Guests can swim at anytime in the warm waters surrounding Lady Elliot Island or relax in the Manta pool situated in the centre of the resort accommodation.

Beachfront Bar: The lagoon bar overlooks the Great Barrier Reef and is the perfect place to wind down after a days adventure on the reef. Offers a wide variety of Cocktails, Australian & imported Beers, Wine and spirits. Pool Table. Sunset Drinks, Watch the sunset over the Great Barrier Reef with a glass of bubbly.
