iLocalDirect, Interactive Local Social Directory, connecting locations, business, classifieds, events & groups from communities around the globe, your social network local directory.

iLocalDirect is about places and the communities within them, Cities & Towns are added by locals who have a good understanding about the location, local community businesses & services added to the the business directory as well as classifieds, event and groups are added to a local directory.

As each City & Town is unique in their own way, each local directory will be custom built the will be unique to the location, this is work being done in the back ground & it is expected that it will take a number of year to develop.

The Social Network is interactive & members can comment & rate most entries on iLocalDirect, however the custom local directory being developed in the background is only collected and added once the information is confirmed as accurate.

Opening in Beta early 2011 iLocalDirect will under go continued development in a number of area's, one is the internal ads that will rotate on the site, all the ads are listings on the site & by clicking these ads members or guests never leave iLocalDirect, this will only happen when clicking on members links from their listings.

Rating & Comments will give members & site visitors a better idea what previous members had to say about the site you are about to visit, giving people a secured feeling that the site has been tested & rated by people before them, with so many website's making inaccurate claims, the rating & comments will be a direct reference, remember the owners of these site are responsible for their listing.

As members log in they are taken to their account page where all their information is available to them, from mail to local listings & more, example that while site visitors can search for their country, members are automatically shown their states, an Australian logged in as a member will see all Australian States, this applies to Business Listings, Classifieds, Events & Groups, however all local listing are shown on your account page.

Local Directories are made up by Country, State or Regions, Cities & Town are added by the member while adding their listing, these are then grouped to listings for that City or Town.

Example: A Business Listings for the Town of 1770, all members from the Town of 1770 will see these from their account page when they login, however a site visitor looking for let's say accommodation or tours in the Town of 1770 will be shown further listings from the Town of 1770 from the first listing they look at, (This applies to Classifieds, Events & Groups as well.)
