| New Dive Boat for Dive 1770
Dive 1770, the original dive operator in the Town of 1770 and has been conducting dives out to Queensland’s Southern Great Barrier Reef and 1770 local dive areas with certified and introductory dives since 2003. Dive 1770 services also include PADI dive courses from open water to dive master and selling and servicing scuba diving equipment.
Dive 1770 have been offering scuba diving at Queensland’s spectacular Southern Great Barrier Reef, Fitzroy Reef & Lagoon, giving introductory divers the opportunity to dive for the first time inside the safety of the lagoon and taking certified divers out to the outer wall. They are looking forward to continuing the day trips on board the Reef Jet throughout summer, showing tourist the natural beauty of the Southern Great Barrier Reef's unique reef system.
Exciting news of their new boat, ‘Sunfish’ which will be available for full and half day trips to give tourist and locals the opportunity to experience the magic of the 1770 area.
These services include, full and half day dive trips to the Southern Great Barrier Reef experiencing manta rays, turtles, coral pinnacles, canyons, caves, and an amazing variety of hard and soft corals filled with colourful tropical and sub tropical fish. Dive in aqua blue waters and experience visibilities often over 25 metres.
Personalised tours for groups as small as four, offering snorkelling, fishing, diving and reef surfing or just simply experiencing 1770’s uniquely stunning area.
Full and half day tours around the 1770 area to locations such as Pancake Creek and Bustard Head.
Half day diving adventures to some of Central Queensland’s best kept secrets, the wrecks of the infamous Karma and the Cetecea, also half and full day exploratory tours to untouched, virgin dive sites on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
