All drought affected primary produces in the Central Queensland area stretching from Gin Gin through to Mount Larcom will be eligible to receive further Exceptional Circumstances payments after the Federal Government’s decision to commit an extra $350 million to the drought affected areas.
Snookems A Chamberlain 9G Tractor
Anyone noticed ‘Snookems’ driving around the Central Queensland area, towing a camper trailer, then you be surprised too learn that the tractor was on it’s way back to Western Australia after a trek with other enthusiasts from Perth to Cape York. “Snookems’ is a Chamberlain 9G tractor, the famous workhorse of the late 1950-60s, designed and built in Western Australia. These machines, which are capable of 50km/h, can be made comfortable to drive, and of course have a proven reliability over a long time, and have the reputation of being a go anywhere machine.

Queensland's Crime and Misconduct Commission has cleared a state government minister and her husband of any wrongdoing over alleged Labor vote rorting.
