Artist Alan Bartleet has burst onto the Agnes Water Art scene with his dynamic portrait of Agnes Water dynamo Jorden Sucklis-Laurie.
Alan Bartleet having travelled the world many times and lived in most city’s in Australia, has finally found his creative destiny in Agnes Water - 1770.
Alan was introduced to this beautiful treasure in Australia recently and immediately fell in love with the Agnes Water - 1770 Region, and instantly knew his creative haven lay here.
‘It inspired me to the point that I was bursting with creative enthusiasm’.
'This essence and natural vitality is what I wanted to capture, through portrait painting.’
When given the opportunity to paint a portrait of Jorden, for the pleasure and enjoyment of his parents and family, Alan jumped at the creative opportunity and the painting began.
Alan Bartleet concentrates on painting from people’s favourite photograph, which avoids time consuming live sittings and timely delays.
Parents and friend fell in love with the painting and were full of admiration and praise and felt it would a perfect gift.

Agnes Water often called Agnes Waters and it is common for Lady Musgrave Island to be called Lady Musgrove Island and Captain Cook to Captian Cook and Capitan Cook or Captan Cook, with the Town of Seventeen Seventy now known as 1770 that would be hard to misspell for anyone.
