Take a relaxed walk along the combined walking/bike track at the Tannum Sands esplanade.

There are covered barbeques and dining areas at both the Poolside Gazebo and beside the tennis court. For the larger group there is the camp kitchen which is fully equipped with cooktop, barbeque, microwave oven, toast, kettle, refrigerators and washing up facilities. All areas have multiple sets of tables and chairs located undercover and outside.
In the back campground, where we offer both powered and non-powered sites, we allow small campfires.
There's a resort style pool and spa, half tennis court, TV and games room with table tennis table and pool table.
We have bikes available for hire for the myriad of bike tracks that make up the Turtle Way plus kayaks for exploring the sheltered waterways inside of Wild Cattle Island, just opposite the village.
Kite surfing is a very popular activity along Tannum Sands main surf beach just 300m from the caravan park. Recognised as one of Queensland's safest swimming beaches, Tannum Sands Main Beach is patrolled during the summer months.
Each afternoon the kookaburras line the pool fence and wait to be fed by passing tourists.
Wear out the kids at the Tannum Sands Millennium Esplanade playground only a few minutes walk down the road.
We also offer a small playground right here in the park.

These Melanesian villas are comfortable family accommodation capable of sleeping sleep up to seven guests. All units face out to the esplanade and close to both the swimming pool and barbeque areas. Layouts vary in these accommodation units so suit the requirements of all travellers.
Recommended for a family of two adults and three children however for that larger family a sofa bed is available in some accommodation units.
Queen size ensemble in each villa complete with linen and towels plus clock radio.
For the children there are triple bunks provided with pillows. Linen hire is available if required.
The kitchenette comes complete with all crockery, cutlery, cookware and appliances including refrigerator, microwave oven and two-plate cooktop.
The combined kitchen/living area has reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan and 51cm colour television.
Each accommodation villa has an ensuite plus an iron and ironing board along with basic cleaning items.
Glass sliding doors open out onto your private balcony complete with outdoor setting.
These AAAT 3 star rated cabins are ideal for the budget accommodation conscious traveller. Located away from road these comfortable deplex style units offer a quite, affordable option for families and couples.
Each accommodation unit contains a double bed and bunk beds with a trundle in an open plan layout. Linen is not provided in our cabin section however all beds have pillows.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with two plate cooktop, microwave oven and refrigerator. In addtional all crockery, cutlery and cookware are provided.
The units all have reverse cycle air conditioning, a ceiling fan, 51cm remote control television and undercover car accommodation.
The bathroom for the accommodation cabins is a new addition and has been placed on the end of the carport area just outside the cabin. Access to the shower and toilet is undercover
Tannum Beach Caravan Village offers a choice of spacious shady and sunny sites with or without a concrete slab. Tourist sites are cabled for television.
All powered sites and both powered and unpowered camp sites in Camping grounds No. 1 are close to one of the amenities blocks.
Campers who choose to set up in Camping ground No. 2 are offered a spacious, grassed, timbered area where campfires are permitted.
Both camping grounds are close to the camp kitchen, which is fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooktop and electric BBQ.
The amenities blocks, each containing fully equipped laundries, are spacious and spotless. There are disable facilities and a baby bath.
The Village Kiosk, open 8am to 6pm daily, has a range of convenience food lines and fresh bread and milk daily (as well as ice, bait, gas, drinks and ice-creams).
Local facilities in the Tannum Sands - Boyne Island area include two plaza style malls, hotel and club (with courtesy transport), golf, and bowls. There is also fishing, crabbing and boating with launch facilities right on our doorstep.
Local attractions within a short drive include a winery, botanical gardens, markets and the Calliope Historical Village. Take a trip to Lake Awoonga, Curtis Island or a Gladstone Harbour Coffee Cruise.
