The calm river winds it’s way through the township of Boyne Island along Turtle Way, 15 kilometres of river front walking tracks. From Turtle Way you can make your way across to Canoe Point through a botanic walk behind the sand dunes. The foreshore parklands along the Boyne River overlook the boats, outrigging crews and water skiing, which epitomises the Central Queensland community’s love for the outdoors and water activity’s.
For kids, Boyne Island has its own skate park located at Bray Park. From Bray Park you can also launch your boat and tae to the pacific ocean and Great Barrier Reef for some serious fishing. Alternatively, there are a number of boat ramps and local fishing spots where you are sure to catch a few fish.

Located on the banks of the Boyne River, this event runs over the June long weekend each year and is jam packed full of entertainment and competitions.
