Being permitted to access the National Parks, we can take our customers fishing into the six estuary systems surrounding the Town of 1770.
To the south is Deepwater Creek, at the southern end of Deepwater National Park. This estuary has both fresh and salt water fishing on offer, and allows for great sport fishing on light tackle or fly.
Running through the Town of 1770 is Round Hill Creek, which meanders inland for approximately 10 kilometers of varied fishing.
North of the Town of 1770 is Eurimbula National Park, and the three estuaries we visit. Eurimbula Creek, Middle Creek and Pancake Creek each have their own unique fishing holes, and provide a wide array of fishing opportunities.
Possible fish species include: Dusky Flathead, Sand Flathead, Sand Whiting, Queenfish, Giant Trevally, Golden Trevally, Estuarine Cod, Mangrove Jack, Baramundi, Tarpon, Bream, Grunter Bream, Snub Nosed Dart.
Access the hard-to-reach areas in our self-drive 16 foot canoes, powered by 2.5 hp outboard motors.
Tours can include Round Hill Creek, Eurimbula Creek, Middle Creek, Pancake Creek, Deepwater Creek, Baffle Creek (conditions permitting).
